Once booked, sessions are non-refundable but are transferable if Xtreme MTB is notified more than 14 days prior to the course date. Within the seven day period before the session/, bookings are non-transferable. Each cancelled booking will be considered based on individual circumstances however every endeavour will be made to provide alternative solutions.
Course Cancellation – courses may be cancelled by Xtreme MTB if there is two or under clients booked. If the minimum number of participants is not reached within 3 weeks of the course commencement, we reserve the right to cancel the course. Should this occur, transfer to another course date or a full refund will be offered by Xtreme MTB. We will not be liable for any extra costs incurred with respect to your attendance of your course.
Xtreme MTB will not provide or carry any additional food/snacks and hydration liquids for riders. Xtreme MTB expects that riders will carry their own food and fluids sufficient for the duration of their session. Remember once you realise that you are dehydrated it’s already too late.
It’s compulsory to wear a certified cycling helmet throughout any Xtreme MTB session.
• Downhill – For the Downhill sessions, a certified full face helmet, suitable knee pads and eye wear is compulsory. A spine protector is strongly recommended.
• Freeride – For the Freeride sessions a certified full face or certified cycling helmet is compulsory along with suitable knee/shin pads. Eye wear and spine protection is optional but strongly recommended.
Our coach is always suitably kitted out in the appropriate safety gear for the respective disciplines. Any other personal protection is always welcome..
Mountain Biking is a dangerous sport and as such carries risk which could result in personal injury or death. Xtreme MTB will endeavour to teach in safe areas and on suitable terrain, appropriate for the level of rider however, the customer/ rider accepts that risk of both minor and serious injury is a part of mountain biking and has the option to withdraw from any activity at any point should they feel uncertain about proceeding. Refund will not be given.
Should the weather or ground conditions be considered unsafe by the Xtreme MTB coach, an alternative date/ session will be offered to suit the customer. Xtreme MTB will make decisions on weather conditions as early as possible however this may be on the day or during a session. Should a session be cancelled or cut short due to extreme weather conditions, an alternative date will be arranged at no extra cost to cover lost time.
Xtreme MTB reserves the right to stop any session without a refund should the Xtreme MTB coach deem the rider either dangerously unprepared or to have provided inaccurate information regarding their riding experience causing danger to themselves and others.
In most cases Xtreme MTB use public trails and riding spots therefore all respect and courtesy should be given to other users. Foul language and antisocial behavior will not be tolerated and will result in person/s be told to remove themselves from the session with no refund option.
All participants are recommended to take out adequate insurance cover. Any such policy should cover activity participation, personal items, medical expenses, the cost of repatriation in the event of illness and cancellation by you.
Our liability to you in any circumstances is limited to the total cost of your activity. We accept no responsibility for any damage or loss to your personal possessions. We are not liable for any failure to carry out the contract if the failure is
• due to the actions of a participant
• due to circumstances out-with our control and unforeseeable
• due to theft or damage to bicycles or injury to you which occurs as a result of cycling on or off-road; or during transit.
